Well, finally I think the vomit and runny poo's has stopped her at Monty. Its been 8 Days of washing every bed in the house at least twice. 3 out of 4 kids got it and the one who didn't has a cough keeping her up at night and now 3 nose bleeds in 2 days?!! Whats with that. 2 trips to the doctors to no avail and a Party to get organized as my little man turns 5 on Sunday! Phew, (swig of coffee)
I did manage to finish my redwork for The Quilt Project, wow there are some really AMAZING works happening! Check out the flicker group OMG! I feel quite out of place amongst such talented people.
So here she is in all her glory, my Mum dubbed her "The Rude Tree"... lol. From the beginning.
So at this stage I thought I had finished but it didn't look it, so I added to it.
I had to go one more...
So here she is in all her glory and I love her! Its not every ones cup of tea but that's okay. Its not has harsh in real life the paint was still wet I think in the photo.
She will make her way to kirsty's and be sewn into a quilt with everyone elses work and displayed on-line and somewhere in Melbourne for all to see. Im thinking of reproducing her on a black t-shirt for the up coming concert for me to wear.
You have to stop by and see Alison's AMAZING work... I originally wanted to do a portrait of the singer but had no idea how to simplify it enough to look good in stitch. Alison pulled it off perfectly.
So there you have it The Rude Tree...
Wow I love her, I don't think she is rude at all. Yeah for Pearl Jam inspiration.
