Big Week

Yes its been a big week in the mini monty household.

This Beautiful Girl turned 5 and had a Pamper PARTY...

It was hilarious, they had chocolate masks and a vanilla salt foot scrub, their nails painted and a little eyeshadow and lip gloss, as well as their hair done!

All in pink robes, headbands to keep the hair at bay and pink feather bowers to top it all off...even rose petals in the foot baths. Tilly got in on it all except the mask and she ate the cucumber.

Thanks to Pinterest, I whipped this baby up in no time. Easiest cake ever and they ate it! There is a store bought mud cake under those smarties.

And the rest of the weekend was spent making commissioned christmas gifts.

and my daughter commissioned me to make these luggage tags for her teacher who is leaving to teach in indonesia.

and as for the rest of the teachers gifts I used my stash of market goods!

Slacker

Yes that's me slack on the bloggie front...but ive been busy! I'm working now and juggling kids and still trying to craft stuff.

I had my work exhibited at Montsalvate with the Thou Art Mum group...

Here I am with my youngest... very excited we were ! If you've never been to Montsalvate then your missing out..its beautiful and like stepping back into medieval times.

and today I got to go for breakfast kid free in this 67' Camaro...she is stunning and so fast its like being on a roller coaster ride! No joke...Mr Monty scared the begeezez out of me.

But fun....Im a sucker for vintage muscle cars!

How time fly's

Yes, how does it go so fast? Drawing to the end of the year quicker than I'd like...but I cant stop it so I'm going with the flow.

Had my second Fete Stall with Mandy on Sunday...great weather great stall holders but not great sales:( Oh well you cant win them all. We met two lovely ladies, one who makes amazing necklaces 2Birds by Lisa Kerr

Check out her stuff on Made It...great Christmas Presents...was great to sit and chat and talk to others about Markets and Fetes...

Mandy and I have added to stall and you can even find us on Facebook ....not a fan but Im on it...need to get with the times I do!Ditto Crafts on FB  so come on over and Like us...pretty please...

well I'm off as I'm still recovering from a wicked Migraine...last night I went to bed at 6pm and today I'm running to the loo every half hour? Wondering if this is my bodies reaction to having a coke after 20 weeks of being Coke free?

Art or Not?

Hello peeps and stalkers...

Im sorry for the lack of blogging...kids are on holidays... and my life has turned upside down...but back to normal next week...gratefully

So a good friend of mine talked me into joining an Artist group...called Thou Art Mum

we are all mothers who create.. I was hesitant to say the least as I don't consider my self an Artist. What is an Artist? I create I make but I wouldn't call it Art. So hears the thing..I'm going to exhibit a piece of work in their next up coming exhibition. We were to create something to pay TRIBUTE to our favorite artist.

Now when people think artists they think Van Gogh....me I think Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam....lol...yes I'm paying tribute to my favorite band and singer...to me he is and amazing artist and I create to his voice and songs everyday...I exercise to them and clean my house to them. So will I be laughed out of the exhibition? Im willing to take a chance.

So with out saying anymore here is my master piece...lol...(not)

The Trouble With Kids is....

The trouble is after the kids are in bed it becomes hunting time for all my lost goods!

Tea Towel + Bias Binding =

An Apron of course!

 
Child number 3 has 4 party's in the next 2 weeks....I have a present stash in my linen cupboard and pulled out a cup cake kit....found a pack of tea-towels I have been hoarding and made some bias binding ties...and there you have it....an apron to go with it...pleased I am!

He likes to eat Pajamas

What is a staple birthday present that I like to by for kids? Besides the cushions I made with their name on it....it would have to be Pajamas. Always handy and what kid couldn't do with another pair...But they are a bit boring for the wee ones.
