Hey long time no see,
School holidays keeping me busy. Kids back to school friday!!!!! these holidays have gone so fast, I was dreading 7 weeks with all the kids home, but Ive really enjoyed it, probably because we have had the opportunity to have little weekends away which broke up the monotony.
While I was away in Mansfield I started the Mustard Scarf, something I could sit and make while I chatted with friends,
The yarn was a $1 a ball from good old K-mart, its so soft, mix of acrylic, alpaca and 5% polyester, I'm not a yarn snob by any means, It will be interesting to see if it holds up to the wear and tear.
I have no idea Why I enjoy knitting in summer, I think its easy to pick up and put down, although in 40 degree heat the last thing I need is another scarf! Stashed for winter.
The Mustard Scarf is a free pattern from Ravelry
What are you making?
