Tuesday just gone was a great day to sit and sew....wet, windy and cold.
I have a few babes being born soon and wanted to get started on a little something, so when I saw Kates Geometric quilt I new thats what I wanted to make.
So I cut my fabrcis Monday night, and Tuesday morning I sat and sewed and had the top finished with in 2 hours....gotta love that.
Now when I say out of the box I mean I went for it with regards to colours...all built around a vintage sheet cut off I found....can you spot it?
Now its just deciding on what backing fabric to use. I have some perfect coloured minke? but don't fancy quilting it....would look weird? so off to spotty with youngest in tow.
Hoping to find some grey flannel preferably with out skulls...: 0)
That does sound fast!
Looks great too.
