Okay so many of you asked for it, so here it is Ive done the best I write it up for you all.
This was a gift from my Nonna, you can read more about it here.
Its really basic. Starts off like a Granny Square. I used size 4mm Hook and Standard Cotton yarn so my mofits are bigger and more visible for the Tute.
My Blanket was made from 4 ply baby yarn with Hook to match ( read your lable) the mofits measure 2.5 inches
Chain 6, Sl St into 1st CH from Hook
Ch 3 (counts as first DC from hereafter), 3Dc, Ch 3, 4 Dc, Ch 3, 4 Dc, Ch 3, 4 Dc, Ch3 and join to the top of the first 3 chain
2nd Round: Sl St across to next 3 chain opening. Ch 3, 8 Dc into the chain 3 opening,
9 Dc in the next opening and finish round in the same way.
Make as many of these as you want the blanket big. My Nonna's Blanket is 13 Squares Across. 17 Squares long....bassinet size.
Now to sew them together...
Sew at the end of each outer shell and in the middle of the shell where my needle is pointing. I sewed from the back as it was easier to pick up the stitches.
Would love to see your creations....Ive started a flickr group here
