Yes its true, Mustard seems to be creeping into my blue loving world.
I finally made myself a Yarn Wreath, I brought a set of three wreaths from the op-shop for $2.00 they had three different sizes and this was the biggest. The Yarn was a dollar and the felt I had in my stash.
My old glue gun got a work out. Loving the results. Just don't look at the pin holding it up!
I had my first Pyrex score this week, so hard to come across or is it just me? and just look at the colour...
Mustard, just need the middle size bowl. Probably payed to much for them but hey that's ok.
Did you notice the sheet?
Mustard and Blues a match made in heaven... will be headed to my shop
In my April update. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by and brought some Sweet Sheets! Ive been overwhelmed by your response and glad to report that all my customers thus far have all been aussie, which was my idea.
one last mustard love for you,
Not really but they are cute...found for $2.50 and the frame I picked up and painted ages ago but am yet to hang it in my room.
Oh and I saw Eddie Vedder on his solo tour Thursday night and he was AMAZING! I'm so in awe of that guys talent...just incredible. His voice is just like fine, fine wine only gets better with age....
Anyway I hope your weekend is colourful!

in my creative space I got to PLAY with my sheets, I had an order to fill, it was so nice to see all the different patterns coming together to make one yummy pile.
I really hope that I get to see what is made with these beauties.

My son has had so many birthday Party's of late it gave me a chance to make one of these
Also made from thrifted sheets and a Pillow case for the drawstring bag. The tutorial can be found at Salt-Water Kids. I purchased a sheet that was a good size and thickness, and sewed on loops at each corner and a casing for a rope to be threaded through the middle to make a tent, added suction cups with hooks and big clamps so that the fort can be built inside or out, and for some fun a torch and compass, all found at the dollar store. Even the label is available on her blog along with a rainbow one for the girls. I used printable canvas for the label.
I'm yet to see the birthday boys mother, feel the need to explain it to her, although its all written on the front.
Have another birthday party this weekend and next, so I should get cracking.
Check out more spaces here. Have a good one
Grey out side and inside ...knitting and it feels like your getting no where....
So tempted to cast on something little to break the grey but I figure If I'm knitting on something else I could be knitting the never ending cardie...does that even make sense?
This is whats tempting me...two lovely little skein's.
I'm tired so bloody tired I feel like I'm moving in slow motion and every thing else is in fast forward.
Two year old has ditched her Cot which is bad cause her day sleep is missing in action and 5pm sees her loosing the plot! (and Me!)
The joy of putting your child to bed a hundred times over when all you want to do is veg on the couch,
She is my last and I should be sad to see the cot go, but Im not, maybe four kiddo's was the magic number for me.
Need some speed...joke need some home made chicken soup....on the stove as we speak.
Thanks for listing..

So.....where the hell have I been, mmm lets see don't know really.
I know that I spent two days in hospital with my 4 year old who sliced her foot open on some corrugated iron, Taya is healing well and has a half cast to remind her that she has a hurt foot ! Although you would never know she's running and jumping and was on the swing in the back yard as soon as we were home.
Her little sis missed her lots!
I know Ive been treating, combing, conditioning, combing and killing lice, nits whatever you want to call the damn things, do you know how much time I have lost to these blood sucking beasts....I am grateful that I have managed to clear two out of four children and the other two seem to be nit free....SEEM...we will see,
I know that I have been Sewing and knitting like a deamond, but dont have much to show as they are presents for people I can show you a little something
