Ive been making.
Making for a newly born baby girl.
Making for a GOOD cause.
A reversible dress for Orphans in Kenya. Thanks to Gypsy spreading the word Spotlight in Blackburn is accepting donations of these dresses. You can find out more over at Gypsy's blog.
I used thrifted sheets. I need to attempt buttons holes on my new machine, thus the procrastination begins... I would like to add some pockets too.
I enjoyed putting this dress together and I think I may make a few more. I found a great tutorial if anyone is interested, helped me alot. Polka dot bug blog.
And for a mum at school who had her second child yesterday, I revamped a Huggies wipes container. Glue gun got a work out. Love the result.
And made a matching changing mat and burp cloth not pictured, cause It still needs to be sewn together.
Ive been buzy with the hook too.
More to come.

I received the dresses in the post Leah, they are stunning! Love them! Thanks so much for sewing for a great cause! xx
ps. It's the Bayswater store that's collecting pinafores :)
