Ive been wanting to make Lunch Wraps for so long now, last week I bit the bullet and whipped two up in no time.
I made these as a trial run, ive been using them for over a week and the kids love them. They tell me that there lunch stays fresh so Im very happy. It feels so much nicer wrapping their lunch in these than a new zip lock bag that never makes it back home.
They are so simple to make there are heaps of tutes out there, but basically I got the biggest zip lock bag I could find (food grade one) and cut it in half than used the two pieces to line the insides.
Then its a matter of cutting your material a inch and a half bigger all the way round and making a roll over hem. sew some velcro bits on opposite corners and your done. I just wipe them down everyday and chuck them in the was at the end of the week. I plan to make a few more as Taya wants some for Kinder. Next on the list is snack bags.
A good idea for the wraps would be to add a little loop on one side so you can hang them to dry.
I finished a fruit cozy for Riley ages ago, which I only took photos of now.
So there you have it, lunch is all wrapped up!
Happy Wednesday (as someone said to me this a.m ;-)
